Macrinus (217-218 AD). AR Denarius (19 mm, 2.70 g), Rome. Obv. IMP C M OPEL SEV MACRINVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. AEQVITAS AVG, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae. RIC IV 53 (S); C. 2. AU (About Uncirculated). Scarce and Great exemplar. Superb portrait. Old cabinet and iridiscent silver tone.
