Roman Empire Severus Alexander (222 - 235 A.D.). Bronze sestertius (21.22 g. 32 mm) IMP CAES M AVR SEV ALEXANDER AVG, laureate and draped bust right / P M TR P VII COS II P P, emperor standing facing, head left, sacrificing over lighted altar and holding roll; S-C across fields. RIC 484. Brown original patina. Great exemplar.
