Roman Empire Maximus caesar (236-238 A.D.) bronze sestertius, minted in Rome. 236/7 A.D. Obv: MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare-headed and draped bust right / Rev: PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, Maximus standing left, holding baton and spear, two standards behind him. RIC 13. 19.42 g 30-32 mm Good Very fine condition. Green original patina. Nice example. Scarce.
