Theodosius II. A.D. 402-450. Æ (21 mm, 4.77 g, 6 h). Constantinople, ca. A.D. 437. D N TH[EODO]-SIVS P F AVG, diademed, helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II right, holding spear and shield / [CO]NCOD-IA AGV (sic), two emperors standing facing, each holding spear and supporting long cross between them; [CO]NS. RIC 460; LRBC 2231. Rare and quite nice for issue. Brown patina with touches of red. Choice very fine.
