Constantinople. + ЄMMA NOVHΛ, barred IC XC across field, bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, with five pellets in each arm of nimbus / + IhSЧS/ XPISTЧS/ bASILЄЧ'/ bASILЄ'in four lines; ornaments above and below. DOC class A2; SB 1818. Attractive brown patina. Choice extremely fine.
