India, Alchon Huns in Kashmir. Successors of Toramana II. Ca. 530-855. Æ stater (21 mm, 6.82 g). King standing, sacrificing at fire altar, with Brahmi legend Sri Tora(mana) at left along circular margin / Goddess Lakshmi seated facing, holding a long-stemmed lotus, one hand raised in benediction, with kalasha (sacred vessel) to left; Brahmi legend Jaya to right. MACW 3799; Mitchiner, Non-Islamic 158. A lovely strike. Superb.
