Description
A Roman colorless glass bottle, 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the body ovoid with indented base, the neck tubular with constricted bottom, the mouth flared with the rim folded in and flattened. H: 6 ½” (16.5 cm). Intact with light iridescence and earthen deposits. 19th Century label detailing where the vessel was found “Amiens 1877” near bottom. Ex old French collection. Value Range $400-$450.
