A large Chancay chicha vessel from Peru, c. 1100 – 1450 AD. This beautifully decorated urn is 12-1/2 high, 9-3/4” wide and is decorated with traditional linear designs typical of the type. A pair of nicely detailed frog adornos are perched on the chamber above the broad loop handles. Intact, with strong paint and goo mineral deposits. Ex Caravallo collection. Value range: $750- $900
