Description

A choice Nazca bowl from Peru, c. 200 - 400 AD. It is 6-7/8" in diameter and is decorated with connected crosshatched diamond designs, executed in white over dark brown slip, most likely representing textile or net elements. The rim and interior are dark red, the underside is orange. In excellent condition, with good mineral deposits.
