Description
Syria, Seleucis and Pieria. Antiochia ad Orontem(?). Nero, with Divus Claudius. A.D. 54-68. AR tetradrachm (23 mm, 13.26 g, 12 h). Ca. A.D. 63-68. Laureate head of Nero right; ivy leaf above wreath tie / Laureate head of Claudius right. McAlee 269/1; cf. Prieur 47; RPC -. Lightly toned, minor cleaning marks and light porosity. Nice portraits. Very fine.
