SASANIAN KINGS. Khosrau II, 590-628 AD. AR Drachm (3.97 gm; 31 mm). Sunrise 984var. Standard issue, obverse, phrase "APD" on the second quarter with triple dots, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint "AI" Airan-Susa to the right, year 15 to the left. Choice EF. Extremely rare and certainly a model for the future Arab Sasanian coinage.
