ARAB-SASANIAN. "Al-Walid", Æ Unit (1.95 gm; 21 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, name "Al-Walid" written in kufic behind the head, name or phrase "Al-Arir?" to the right, reverse, Islamic Shahadah, Gyselen Type 64. Red patina. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
