ABBASID, Khalif Al-Mahdi. Æ Fals (1.73 gm; 19 mm). obverse, Khalif's name as "Amir-al Mo"menin" (Commander of the ship of Faithfuls), reverse, mint "Besabur (Bishapur), followed by year 167 AH. Red patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare in decorative design of the coin for this period.
