Æ Fals (3.10 gm; 21 mm). obverse, Khalif's name as "Mahdi Mohammad" as "Amir-al Mo"menin" (Commander of the ship of Faithfuls) followed by name "Rabi'", (local governor or Amir) reverse, Shahadah, year 167, mint "Harounieh"(?) on the border of Syria and Mesopotamia. Red patina. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
