Obverse, Shapur’s bust turning right, no symbol or monogram, reverse, fire altar with attendants and figure in the altar, phrase “Raast” (Truth) on the base of altar, superb style and strike, mint of Ctesiphon or Persis (Istaxr). Lovely strike on anice broad flan. Choice EF. Toned. Extremely rare.
