GREEK: Macedonia, Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (25mm, 7h). Early posthumous issue of Ake or Tyre, dated Regnal Year 27 of Azemilkos (320/19 BC). Obverse: Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck. Reverse: A?E?AN?POY; Zeus seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; ?O (Phoenician for Azemilkos) above | ||| ||| // (date) in left field.
