CELTIC,Danube Eastern Europe: 3rd to 2nd Century, Imitation of Philip III of Macedon, AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 15.06g, 12h). Minted in lower Danube region. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Reverse: Zeus seated left. Two monograms in left field, Greek Z below throne. OTA 579. KMW 1470-5. Ex Rauch E Auction 27, lot 21. Attractive, heavy coin with nice, even gray toning and more detail than usual for type.
