Description
ROMAN EMPIRE: Nero, AD 54-68, AE As or Dupondius (29mm, 13.9g). Obverse: Laureate head, right. Reverse: Securitas seated right on throne, holding scepter, garlanded and lighted alter, lighted torch and bucranium below. Fantastic portrait with full legend on obverse. XF/VF. RIC I 597, but with Nero's head facing right not left as in 597.
