BYZANTINE EMPIRE: Phocas and Leontia, AD 603-610, AE Follis (27.5mm, 11.3g), Antioch as Theopolis. Obverse: DN FOCA NE PE AV or similar; Phocas on left, holding cross on globe and Leontia, usually but not always nimbate, on right, holding scepter topped by cross, standing facing. Reverse: Large M, ANNO to left, cross above, regal year (sometimes with dot above) to right, mintmark THEUP below. SB 671, MIB 83a-b. XF.
