BYZANTINE EMPIRE: Heraclius (AD 610-641) and Heraclius Constantine. AV solidus (20mm, 4.5g, 7h). NGC MS 4/5 - 4/5. Constantinople, 5th officina, ca. AD 616-625. Obverse: dd NN h?RACLI?S ?t h?RA CONSt P P A, facing busts of Heraclius (on left) wearing short beard and mustache, and Heraclius Constantine (on right) beardless, both wearing simple crown and chlamys; cross above between them. Reverse: VICTORIA-AV?? ?, cross potent with base on three steps; CONOB below. Sear 743. Reflective surfaces. Eveh nicer in hand than pictured. NGC # 4530517-007.
