KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm (4.25 gm; 18 mm). Lampsakos mint. Alexander as Herakles clad in lion's skin / Zeus seated left holding eagle and scepter, ALEXANDROY to right. Monogram and Pegasus flying upwards in lefty field. Price 1382. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Fully centered. Choice Superb EF. Lightly toned. Nice example for the issue.
