CILICIA. Tarsos. Circa 420-410 BC. AR Stater (10.04 gm; 20 mm). Horseman riding to left; to upper right, eagle (?) flying left. Rev. ?????? ('trz' in Aramaic) Archer kneeling right, drawing bow; all within linear square within incuse square. Cf. Casabonne type D2/G1 (obverse/reverse). CNG 93 (2013), 470. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Struck from the usual somewhat worn dies and with a minor test cut on the obverse. Nicely centered. Choice Good VF. Toned. Rare.
