KINGS of PARTHIA. Tiridates (29-27 BC). AR Tetradrachm (14.54 gm; 26 mm). Mint = Seleucia on the Tigris. year = 285 SE, month = Gorpiaios (Sep/Oct 27 BC). Diademed bust left, no wart on forehead / Phraates seated left, holding scepter and Nike, who crowns him with wreath; (year) below throne, (month) in exergue. Sunrise 397; Sellwood 55.5. Some graffiti on the obverse field. Choice Good VF. Toned. Rare.
