KINGS of PARTHIA. Vologases III (AD 105-147). AR Tetradrachm (13.62 gm; 26 mm). Mint = Seleucia on the Tigris. Year 451 SE, month = Apellaios (Nov/Dec AD 139). Bust left, wearing tiara; d behind / Vologases seated left, receiving wreath from Tyche standing right, holding scepter; (year) above, (month) in exergue. Sunrise 446var; Sellwood 79.13. Lovely strike on a nice full broad flan. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning. Rare this nice.
