KINGS of PARTHIA. Vologases II (AD 77-80). AR Tetradrachm (14.02 gm; 26 mm). Mint = Seleucia on the Tigris, dated year = 390 SE (AD 78/79), month = off the flan. Bust left, wearing tiara / Vologases seated left, receiving wreath from Tyche standing right, holding scepter; legend below, (year) above. Sunrise 427var; Sellwood 72.5var., Shore -. Lovely strike on a very good metal. Reverse double struck. Choice EF. Rare.
