SASANIAN KINGS, Bahram (Varhran) V, (420-438 AD). Æ (1.70 gm; 14 mm). Obverse, Bahram's bust turning right monogram consisting of 3 dots between a crscent on the top and the bottom, (Similar to monograms on the reverse of his father yazdgird I drachms), reverse, fire altar with attendants, no mint or date. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice original find reddish and green patina. Extremely rare.
