SASANIAN KINGS, Peroz, second crown, (457/9-484 AD). AR Drachm (4.08 gm; 27 mm). Standard issue, reverse, mint, AH (Ahmadan) and letter "M" for Malka on the left. Bust right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, korymbos set on crescent, and rear merlon / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. SNS type IIa/1e (pl. 88, A38); Göbl type II/1; Saeedi -; Sunrise 944var. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
