SASANIAN KINGS, Peroz, Third crown, (457/9-484 AD). AR Drachm (3.89 gm; 28 mm). Standard issue, reverse, mint, KR (Karian, Karzin, Kerman) and obliterated letters to the left. Peroz's bust with the 3rd and final crown to the right, reverse, fire altar with attendants in prayer mode. SNS type IIIb/1c (pl. 85-6, 99-106), 184-195; Göbl type III/1; Mochiri 250; Paruck 347; Saeedi -, Sunrise 949var. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous. Lightly toned.
