TURKO-HEPHTHALITE, Vasu Deva (Sri Vajara Vakhudeva). Ca. 620-680 AD. AR Drachm (3.01 gm; 32 mm). Bust of king turning right with winged crown inspired by Crown of Khosrau II, reverse, fire altar with attendants, text in both Pahlavi and Brahmi legend. Gobl, Dokumente, Em. 244; Sunrise 1037var. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Original gold insert in the neck. Choice Good VF. Toned. Of highest rarity in this great condition and without countermark. Truly a gem.
