SASANIAN KINGS. Varhran (Bahram) I. AD 273-276. Silver Drachm (3.11 gm; 25 mm). Bahram’s bust with standard Mithraic crown turning right, two-line legend behind the head, reverse, fire altar with attendants, right attendant wearing Shapur I’s crown and left attendant wearing Bahram's crown, three dots at three top levels of fire altar. SNS type Ia/1A; Göbl type I/1; Paruck 109; Saeedi 120; Sunrise 755var. Minor porosity. Minor pitting on the obverse and reverse field. Original find patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
