ILKHANS of PERSIA, Ghazan Khan (Ghazan Mahmud ibn Arghun) 694-703 AD. AR dirhem (3.25 gm; 16 mm). obverse, Uyghur and Arabic text, with the phrase Al-Sultan Ghazan (name between 6 and 7 o'clock) Adel, image of bird (more than likley mythical Senmurgh aka Simurgh) with rising sun behind, reverse, Shia Shahadah with Ali Valiallah at the end. Mongol and Arabic legends. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
