THRACE, Mesembria. Circa 175-100 BC. Æ (3.75 gm; 18 mm). Diademed female head (Amazon?) to right / ΜΕΣΑΜ-ΒΡΙΑΝΩΝ, Athena Promachos advancing to left, brandishing spear held aloft and shield. SNG BM Black Sea 284-6; SNG Stancomb 235; HGC 3.2, 1575. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice original green patina.
