PERSIA, Alexandrine Empire. Seleukos I Nikator 312-281 BC. AR Double Shekel (16.60 gm; 23 mm). Babylon mint. Struck circa 311-305 BC. Baaltars seated left holding scepter, hand on throne, dotted border / Lion walking left, above, horizontal Seleukid anchor, dotted border. SC 88.2; ESM 263; Spaer 90, 91. A bit off center, otherwise well struck. Choice EF. Nice original find patina.
